What is lip Blushing?

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances your natural lip color, adds subtle definition, and creates the appearance of fuller, more even lips. Our licensed artists customize every treatment for your skin tone and desired look, from soft and natural to bold and beautiful.

How Lip Blushing Works

  1. Consultation & Design: We discuss your ideal color, shape, and style, then map your lips for symmetry.

  2. Numbing & Comfort: A topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable throughout the session.

  3. Pigment Application: Using a micro-pigmentation technique, we carefully deposit pigment into the lips for a natural, long-lasting tint.

  4. Final Touch & Aftercare: After the first pass is done, the artist will do a final pass and explain aftercare.

Before Your Lip Blushing Appointment

Following these steps ensures the safest, most comfortable appointment and helps you achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.

    • Avoid lip fillers, Botox, chemical peels, or facials in the lip area. These can interfere with pigment retention and affect results.

    • Skip waxing or aggressive exfoliation around the mouth. Gentle lip care is fine.

    • Limit sun exposure or tanning — sunburned or overly tanned skin can impact pigment healing.

    • Avoid retinol, exfoliating treatments, or strong acids on your lips. These can make your skin more sensitive.

    • Do not take blood-thinning medications (aspirin, certain supplements) unless medically necessary — these can increase bleeding and affect pigment absorption.

    • Limit alcohol and caffeine, which can increase sensitivity and discomfort during the procedure.

    • Arrive with clean lips, free of lipstick, gloss, balm, or other products.

    • Avoid dehydrated lips — drink water and keep lips moisturized in the days prior (but remove balm right before your session).

    • Wear comfortable clothing — you’ll be relaxing for the duration of the session.

    • Be ready to discuss your desired color, style, and intensity with your artist.
