Booking Your Fine Line Tattoo Appointment
At Adorn Studio, fine line tattoos are scheduled by appointment through our online booking system — designed to make your experience seamless and easy from start to finish. Our Fine Line Tattoo service category lets you select a date and time that works best for you, with clear visibility into availability and session length so you can plan accordingly.
When you book your fine line tattoo appointment online, you’ll:
Choose your tattoo artist and session type
Select a date & time that fits your schedule
Secure your booking with a deposit (deposit policies ensure your spot and go toward your tattoo service)
Receive a confirmation and appointment details via email
We encourage clients to book ahead — fine line tattoo appointments often fill up quickly due to their custom nature and the precision involved.
What Size Tattoo Should I Book?

A small fine line tattoo is defined as one single item measuring 1.5 inches or less (roughly the size of a half dollar).
Examples of small fine line tattoos include:
A single letter
Two letters (initials)
One word
Four numbers (such as a birth year)
A single flower
A small icon or symbol
⚠️ Anything more than one main element is considered a medium tattoo.
For example: a bird on a branch with a heart, multiple symbols, or layered details would fall into the medium fine line tattoo category. -
A medium fine line tattoo is approximately the size of an apple, measuring up to 3 inches.
Examples of medium fine line tattoos include:
Two flowers
Two to three words
Up to six numbers
⚠️ Anything larger or more complex is considered a large tattoo.
This includes designs with multiple elements or increased detail.
All flower bouquets are classified as large fine line tattoos. -
A large fine line tattoo measures between 3–4 inches.
Please note: We no longer accept tattoos larger than 4 inches or the size of a grapefruit. This includes:
Floral vines
Wrap-around designs
Tattoos that wrap around an arm, leg, or other limb
These designs require a different approach and are not currently offered.

Fine line tattoo bundle appointments are available for multiple tattoos in one session or shared tattoo experiences.
Small Tattoo Duo
Includes two small tattoos. May be booked as two tattoos for one person or one tattoo for two people. Small tattoos include a single word or name, up to six numbers, or a single flower. More detailed designs require a longer appointment.Tattoo Bundle (One Person)
Time-based appointment for multiple small, medium, or large tattoos in one sitting. Most clients receive 4–6 small tattoos or up to 2 large tattoos, depending on detail.Group Session (3–4 People)
Includes one small tattoo per person Medium or large tattoos require additional time.Policies: Script tattoos require a font selection from dafont.com. Black and gray only — no color tattoos.
Before Your Tattoo Appointment
To ensure your fine line tattoo session goes smoothly, follow our appointment prep guidelines:
Plan ahead:
Hydrate well and eat a nutritious meal before your session.
Skin prep:
Moisturize the area you’ll be tattooed and keep it free from sunburn or irritation leading up to your appointment.
Avoid these:
Stay away from alcohol and blood-thinning substances at least 24 hours prior.
Bring photo ID:
We’ll need it to check you in and complete your consent form.
Wear clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo location.
